Thankfully I was able to follow the design on the instructions of this kit, ( in order to complete it). The cross stamping was smudged in several areas, which made it difficult to follow. When I completed the kit, it is really adorable!
the pattern needs a lot of thought the candy cane is wrong, I used my expertise on doing the face since I have been doing needlepoint for 60 yrs (completed multipe panels of the Bayeux tapestry, designs from Brittany). the picture is different from the pattern. I am almost done with it and I am approaching the European method of tapestry. I am also using DMC threat. overall I do love the pattern, absolutely charming
I have so much trouble finding embroidery kits. I don’t like cross stitch. I made this one colorful instead of all red. I had a great time picking colors.
